I have been lifting weights since I was 17 years old and have always found it easy to build muscle. I enjoy the healthy lifestyle because as a registered nurse, I see the effects of being unhealthy!I decided to compete again as a goal after turning 40 and after having two c-sections! I have the 2 children Jimmy who is 5 and Jessica is 2 and moved to Connecticut from Maryland so I have no family in the area. My son hates to go to the gym so that is difficult and I work 24-30 hours a week.I was inspired to compete again by two people I met since moving to Connecticut in 2000 ? Morris Mendez and Carla Salotti. They told me I had great potential so I decided to compete again after 11 years.I am unsure at this point which shows I will do in the future. I have two kids, ages and I work as a registered nurse so I am not sure yet. I after placing 3rd in the Fitness Atlantic Open Women division I competed the next day in the NPC New England and placed 1st in the lightweight and Master division in 2006!My husband supports and helps me when he can and I plan to train with Carla. I work out at Gold?s Gym in Bloomfield, Connecticut. My workout changes every 4 weeks and I do cardio at least 4 times a week. I have a bad shoulder and train around that. The supplements I use Varies. I always use Universal Power Packs and Branch Chain Amino Acids. I really like eating healthy food but have a serious weakness for frozen yogurt- cookies and cream! My weight stays pretty stable but I have been able to maintain my muscle while leaning out for competition at the same time. I feel I am stronger than ever and very able to keep up with the kids.I would like to start a personal in-home training business for busy moms! I am a Registered Nurse and I plan to finish my Masters Degree and spend time traveling. I started participating in sports after I graduated high school.Besides bodybuilding I enjoy scrap booking, reading, time with a few close friends. I like to watch standup comedy and drama movies. I like actresses Meg Ryan, Goldie Hawn, and Cameron Diaz.

TRAINING: I typically train 2 to 3 times a day, 6 days a week. Sometimes even 4 times. I?m either doing conditioning with Ian Omalza, hitting mitts with Ray Sefo, doing jits with Sonny Nohara and Rob Drysdale, or pro practice with my team at Xtreme Couture. Thoughts on opponent, Dustin Jacoby? I don?t know [...]
